Q1.Could you tell us what inspired you to start learning Japanese? Also, what challenges did you face in studying Japanese before joining Nihongo Online School?
日本語をどうして勉強しようと思いましたか?また、これまでの日本語学習における悩みについ て教えてください。
I started learning Japanese because I find it interesting, and also because I am considering attending Graduate School in Japan in the future. Because of this, I have decided to learn at least the basic conversational Japanese before applying to schools or moving there.
Before joining Nihongo Online School, I spent some time learning Japanese from free sources online, watching short videos about grammar and vocabulary. Though this method can be very helpful to get started, it is not effective in the long term. After a while, I felt that I needed to have a teacher and well-structured classes for my level if I wanted to get serious about learning.
A problem that I encountered when looking for online schools is that many online schools have a confusing pricing system, or the teaching information is often vague. I always felt discouraged from filling out any forms on their websites.
Q2. There are many online Japanese schools available. What made you decide to study with Nihongo Online School?
他の日本語をオンラインで教えているスクールと比較して、なぜこのオンラインスクールで学ぼう と思いましたか?
I decided on this online school because, from the website introduction, I quickly understood what the teaching method and materials would be. The explanations are well-written, clearly indicating language level, class structure, number of classes, pricing, and even class topics. Even before signing up for the course, I already had a good idea of what the classes would be like. All possible initial questions a student might have are answered on a single page. The clarity of information about what I loved about this school.
Many other online schools’ websites I saw before were too vague about crucial information, such as pricing and the number of classes. Finding out information about them felt like a task, so I kept clicking out every time.
Q3.Could you share your experience with our online lessons? For example, how do you feel about the lessons, your interactions with teachers, the learning materials, and the overall lesson flow?
このオンラインクラスはどうですか? (先生やレッスン内容など)
I have enjoyed every class. The material is well-designed and tailored to the topic and level. The class and homework materials provide sufficient grammar, vocabulary, and exercises for the student to review and practice after class.
The teacher provides enough explanation for each topic and also shares bits of Japanese culture during the class, which also makes it richer and enjoyable. I have really enjoyed my Japanese classes with Yuko sensei.
I plan to continue with the classes after the holidays. However, I need to adjust and confirm my schedule in a different time zone first before inquiring about the teacher’s availability for the next months.
Thanks for your feedback!! We will continue striving to improve our services based on your feedback.
