Q1. What prompted you to start studying Japanese, and what challenges did you face in your Japanese studies before enrolling in Nihongo Online School?

I decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree at a Japanese university, which became my motivation for learning Japanese. Before taking lessons at the Japanese online school, my Japanese level was at a beginner level. I had studied by watching Japanese TV series and knew only a few basic Japanese phrases.

Q2. What made you decide to study Japanese at Nihongo Online School?

I chose the Japanese online school because it offered an affordable and flexible one-on-one learning experience that fit my schedule. Additionally, I liked that I could get a detailed understanding of my Japanese proficiency.

Q3. Please tell us about your lessons.

For study materials, I used “Minna no Nihongo 1” and original textbooks. My learning plan started at the N5 level, covering basic hiragana and katakana reading and writing, as well as essential daily conversations like greetings. The following image is an example of my learning plan.

Q4. What are your thoughts on taking lessons at a Japanese online school?

Thanks to the kind and patient guidance of my Japanese instructors, I was able to build my Japanese skills from the basics and complete a total of 200 hours of lessons. My Japanese proficiency improved steadily, and I became even more motivated to continue studying. I also appreciated that they provided a lesson completion certificate. The image below shows the actual certificate I received.
