●Learning Plan Enrollment Course: 150 Hours Course (50 Hours Online Lessons & 100 Hours of Homework)

In order to complete 150 hours of study within the specified period, students will have two consecutive lessons a day, twice a week.

I try to make sure that the students don’t get bored during the two-hour class by creating a balance between talking to them in Japanese a lot to get their ears used to it, and taking a breather while chatting in English.

Because she had to learn a lot of things in a short period of time, her mind was often saturated at times, and instead of forcing herself to move forward, we focused on making the content stick and repeatedly practicing. and deepen their understanding.

When the student’s pronunciation is good or when they are able to use what they learned last time, the teacher carefully evaluates what they did and uses this to motivate them.

●Learning Approach

Teaching materials: Original text, Minna no Nihongo

Class frequency: 2 times in a week (120 minutes of lesson)

How to proceed with the class:

① Vocabulary and grammar

Learn using original texts based on Minna no Nihongo. The students learned four to five sentence patterns per hour of class, and were able to complete one lesson in two hours.

② Speaking

Tried to make her actively use words that can be used during class, such as greetings at the beginning of the class and words such as “できました”’ and ”わかりました”.After she learned verbs and adjectives, I asked her to talk about yesterday’s events and today’s plans during her free time, and we practiced to be able to say as much Japanese as possible on her own.

③ Listening

For phrases and words that could be understood from the context, the teacher spoke them slowly in Japanese without giving any hints, and asked her to guess the meaning. Also, questions will be asked in a Q&A format at the beginning of the class. As she learns more sentence patterns, we increase the variety of questions she asks.

④ Writing

First, learn hiragana and katakana. Afterwards, use Minna’s Japanese sentence pattern practice book to improve her ability to create sentences based on themes and topics.

⑤ Reading

First, I asked her to read example sentences corresponding to each lesson in Minna no Nihongo, and she got used to the sentences. Once she gets used to it, we practice reading and understanding long summary questions.

●Achievement 【None→JLPT N5 level 】

① Vocabulary and grammar

She was able to achieve her goal of covering N5 level content. However, due to her short and busy schedule, she still didn’t have enough practice to make each sentence stick, so I asked her to submit assignments that would allow her to review the sentence patterns she had learned once again after the course was over. , aimed at establishing N5 level vocabulary and sentence patterns.

② Speaking

N5 level. She has no problem greeting or replying in a way that suits the situation. She is now able to have some Japanese conversations as long as she decides in advance the topic she wants to talk about and suggests the sentence patterns to use.

③ Listening

N5 level. She understood the meaning of key phrases more quickly by listening to them over and over again. Since there was a limit to the lesson time, I explained the meanings of sentences she couldn’t understand in English to help her get used to the lessons.

④Reading

We didn’t have many opportunities to read long texts, but she now has no problems reading example sentences in the textbook and sentences in practice questions.

Overall

She started by learning hiragana and katakana, and knew almost nothing about Japanese words before studying in this course, but completed the course contents in just three months.I don’t think it was easy to complete 50 hours of online lessons and 100 hours of homework in such a short term, and in fact, by the middle of the course, her mind was full and she looked as felt a little tired. However, she worked hard to achieve her goals and met the deadlines for her assignments.I think it was because she had a strong desire to study abroad in Japan.

I hope that in the future, she will always remember what she finds interesting and interesting about Japanese culture and encourage her to study Japanese with an inquisitive mind. She went from not knowing hiragana to being able to acquire some basic Japanese in a short period of time, so I want her to gain confidence in that.

I hope that she can expand her possibilities by studying abroad in Japan.

Good luck studying abroad in Japan!

150 hours of studying Japanese course

wanted to apply to kudan japanese language school for october 2020 session but they need 150 of N5 level japanese language certificate to get admission. So thats why i have contacted to help me with japanese language.I also wanted my knowledge to be around N3 before I make the commitment of acquiring my student visa.A lot of the university courses require at least JLPT N4 level – which is my current aim to reach by the end of my current batch of lessons.I love this school and the very high quality of education they provide for their pupils. More importantly, the staff are extremely polite and willingly to help when you’re in need. The lesson level is great, I don’t feel pressure or stressed at all as the lessons are very easy and understandable.
