Lesson 4 ないform 

The ない-from is a verb conjugation that is a negative form.  Let’s see how does verb change with below picture and understand the rules of making negative sentence.

It has two tenses: non-past negative form and past negative form.
・Non-past negative: V ない

・past negative: V なかった

Group① Verbs End in “u”.

end in “u”: あそぶ、まつ、わたす→change to あそばない、またない、わたさない

end in “う”: かう、つかう、あう→change to かわない、つかわない、あわない

Group② Verbs End in “iru” or “eru”.

end in “eru”: たべる、おぼえる、かんがえる、でる、ねる→change to たべない、かんがえない、でない、ねない

end in “iru”: はしる、はいる、きる→change to はしらない、はいらない、きらない

Group③する、くる

end in “する、くる”  ◯◯する、くる→change to しない、こない
