Lesson 1~になる To become

Today, You learn how to explain “~になる To become~” in Japanese.

✅   ~になる To become

“なります” is used when describing the status of a natural transformation. In English, it means“become…”

there are 2types of grammar patterns you should remember.

・ ~になります。←when it is な adjective or Noun

You have gotten better at Japanese. にほんごがじょうずになりましたね。

・ ~くなります。←when it is い adjective

You have gotten beautiful ! うつくしくなりましたね!

Here is some examples.

ことし、はたちになります。 

Kotoshi, hatachini narimasu.

I will be 20years old this year.

にほんごがじょうずになりましたね! 

Nihongo ga jouzuni narimashitane!

You have gotten good at Japanese!

おおきなりましたね!

Ookiku narimashitane!

You have grown up!

Lesson 2~でしょう It seems that

You learn how to explain “~でしょう It seems that” in Japanese.

Plain form でしょう。 It seems that …

This is used when making a guess or presumption.

Here is some examples.

★Let’s exercise

きょうは、あめがふるでしょう

Kyouwa, amega huru desyou.
It seems that it will be rainy today. 

きょうは、ごごから、はれるでしょう

Kyouwa gogokara, hareru desyou

It seems that it will be sunny this afternoon

このカバンはたかいでしょう
Kono kabanwa, takai desyou.

It seems that this bag is expensive.

Lesson 3もう~、まだ~ Have done

You learn how to explain “もう~、まだ~ Have done” in Japanese.

✅ もう~、まだ~ Have done

もう V[ます-form] ました。 Someone has already done something.

“もう” shows that something has been completed, so it means “already” in English.

Japanese people use this 3 pattern a lot. so you should remember this 3 pattern.

Question :Have you already V ?: もう V ましたか?

Answer Yes:I’ve already V : はいもう V ました

Answer No : I haven’t V…yet: いいえ、まだ、V てません

Here is some examples.

Q:もう ごはんを たべましたか?

Mou gohanwo tabemashitaka?

Have you already ate ? 

A1:はいもう たべ ました

Hai, mou tabemashita.

 Yes, I have already ate it. 

A2:いいえまだ たべていません

Iie, mada tabeteimasen

No, I haven’t ate t it yet.

Q: もう しゅくだいは おわりましたか?

Mou shukudaiwa owarimashitaka?

Have you already finished homework ? 

A1:はいもう おわり ました

Hai, mou owarimashita.

 Yes, I have already finished it. 

A2: いいえまだ おわっていません

Iie, mada owatteimasen

No, I haven’t finished t it yet.

Q: もうえいがを みましたか?

Mou eigawo mimashitaka?

Have you already watched the movies ? 

A1: はいもう ました

Hai, mou mimashita.

 Yes, I have already watched it. 

A2: いいえまだていません

Iie, mada miteimasen

No, I haven’t watched it yet.
