how was A ? Aはどうでしたか？ How was your trip ? 旅行(りょこう)はどうでしたか？
how do you think ? あなたは、どうおもいますか？
how old：なんさい？
how often：どのくらい？
how many：どのくらい？
how much ?：いくら？

how often、how many：どのくらい？ we use when i want to ask about frequency, the length of time and space, distance.
Q:どのくらいアメリカにりょこうをしますか？
Donokurai America ni ryokouwo shimasuka?
How often/how many times do you travel to America?
A: 1ねんかんに、3かいです。
Ichinenkanni, sankaidesu.
I travel 3 times in a year.
